About SUNS
SUNS (Saltillo’s United Nations Simulation) is an event in which students debate about world issues with the purpose of agreeing on a diplomatic solution.
It has been held since 1990 and this year, we are celebrating our 28th anniversary.
Each year, around 500 students from different parts of the country, join us.

Rules
Cellphones will be allowed, but they must be turned off during sessions.
Verbal and confrontational disruption is not allowed.
There must be no violation of school policy (walk-mans, CD-players, etc.)
Language used in committee will be according to each committee.
Vandalism is grounds of expulsion.
Dress code must be followed, if it isn't the delegate will be asked to change.
Plagiarized positions or resolutions will be result of serious consequences.
